The atelier behind the work

Made for
Your body

Stardust Jump is a small bespoke lingerie atelier in Yonezawa, Yamagata, where every piece is cut to your own measurements.

Rolls of dyed fabric stacked on a shelf

A commission starts with twelve measurements and a toile fitted on your body, then moves to fabric chosen for your skin, from Nishijin silk charmeuse to Calais lace.

Every seam is placed where your body asks for it.

The atelier

Every Stardust Jump piece is cut and sewn to order in Yonezawa, from the first toile fitted on your body through to the finished garment. The fabric archive is reviewed twice a year, and each commission is built around the measurements, the silk or lace and the details agreed with you in writing.

Frequently asked

Common questions

How do I take my measurements if I cannot visit the atelier in person?

We send a printed measurement guide by post along with a fabric sample pack. The guide walks through all twelve measurements with photographs. Many clients have a trusted tailor take the measurements for them, which we recommend for the most accurate result. Remote commissions follow the same process as in-person ones, with an additional fitting stage built in.

What fabrics are available, and can I request something not in the archive?

The current archive holds Nishijin silk charmeuse in twelve colourways, Calais lace in six weights, and stretch tulle in four shades. If you have a specific fabric in mind that is not in the archive, we can discuss sourcing it. Lead times may be longer for sourced fabrics, and a minimum order quantity may apply from the supplier.
